While he is known as an aggressive and tenacious advocate, Arthur is personable and treats all clients as part of his family of representation.  If you are Arthur’s client, you will have access to him at all times and will have your questions answered for your case.  Arthur’s personable and direct representation was instilled in him early, from growing up in a small town, outside of Philadelphia, where everyone knew one another.  His Mother, Margie, ran a small store and was loved by all who knew her.  His father, Milton, was an adored piano player, classically trained, but who played piano in local restaurants – the king of the piano bar.

Arthur supports veteran rights and has pursued employment claims for USERRA violations.  His Father and Uncles served in World War II and his Uncle Henry died in combat in Iwo Jima.  Arthur’s Uncle Paul was a beloved country lawyer in Owensboro, Kentucky.  Arthur litigates cases across Pennsylvania counties, and has represented clients in Perry, Elk, Cameron, Jefferson, Franklin, and other counties.  Arthur litigates across New Jersey and has represented clients in counties throughout the state.  Arthur’s practice is in federal and state court.  He is and has been admitted for practice in other states, on a pro hac vice basis, in West Virginia, California, New York, Florida, Texas, Maryland, and Delaware.  Arthur is proud to represent victims of chemical contamination from Camp Lejeune.

Arthur has written and published many law articles to set the stage for litigation in the areas of construction law, products liability, evidence law, construction liability, education law, and other areas.

Arthur received the 2012 George Douglas Award for Appellate Advocacy by the Pennsylvania Association of Justice.  In 1996, he was recognized by the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project for his Outstanding Service and contributions.  Arthur believes that legal representation is a privilege and every client is important whose needs must been understood, addressed, and honored.

Arthur is grateful to be able to have his own law firm where he can focus on clients on a 1:1 basis.  He has even created a new “wing” to his law practice which he describes as “Happy Law”.  This is the part of his practice designed to resolve personal problems that his clients may present.  Arthur has a Master of Law in Taxation and in Estate Planning.  He has performed Kinship Adoptions. He has helped clients obtain guardianship for incapacitated family members. He has helped clients through bankruptcy.  He has helped clients through criminal charges. He has advised clients in estate planning and administration. In short, clients present themselves with what seems to them to be a complicated and serious legal concern and, after representation, are relieved to learn that their problem is neither all that difficult or unique.  Arthur earnestly wants to help you and will do so with kindness, respect, and focus.

Arthur supports community and charitable interests.  He has been a lead fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association and founded “Miles for Melissa”, a charity that raised money for the ALS society. Arthur has raised money for the MS Society and has done this through endurance events, ranging from Marathons to the Ironman.  Arthur is an endurance, open water swimmer, a runner, and a long-distance bicyclist.  Arthur has represented competitive bicyclists for injuries suffered because of defective bicycle components and because of event negligence.

Since Arthur has completed two Ironman Events, in Lake Placid and in Maryland, he has been called an “Ironman with a Heart of Gold”.  While running marathons (he has done 14 of them), Arthur was called “A lawyer who really runs against type” by Art Carey, a Philadelphia Inquirer journalist, meaning that he is someone who really cares and zealously will work to achieve a successful outcome for his clients and for these charitable causes.  Arthur applies his strength, endurance, and zeal to all of his cases.
